Dorm runs, farmhouse moves and office buildouts from Bryan to Rockdale
Aggie Movers Company is based in the Brazos Valley, and that shapes the work. One week it's a third-floor apartment off Holleman and a student who needs the whole thing on the truck before a lease ends. The next it's a family leaving a place out past Snook with a shop full of tools, a tractor attachment nobody wants to lift twice, and a piano that has to come down a porch step. Then an office in Bryan wants cubicles, server racks and twelve years of files in the new building without losing a day of business.
Because we actually live out here, we know which farm roads narrow down, which downtown blocks have no place to park a truck, and which apartment complexes make you sign in at the gate. Owner Wailan Watson keeps the crews small enough that whoever quotes your move is connected to whoever shows up for it.
If we tell you we can get it there, we've already thought about the driveway, the doorway and the stairs.

The first twenty are our home turf — short drives, familiar routes, crews that have been down those streets before. The last four are the long hauls, and they get planned differently.
Long hauls to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio
A lot of moves out of Aggieland end up in one of the big four. Graduates taking a first job in Houston. Families moving closer to grandkids in Dallas. Businesses opening a second location in Austin or San Antonio. We load here and deliver there, which means one crew, one truck and one inventory list instead of handing your things to a stranger halfway.
Coming the other direction works the same. If you're leaving Houston or Dallas for College Station or Brenham, we'll drive out, pack the truck and bring it home. Plenty of people call us for exactly that because we know the destination better than a mover who has never set foot in Brazos County.
What changes when the drive gets longer
Distance changes the planning more than the price, honestly. These are the things worth sorting out before the truck rolls:
- Access on both ends. Tell us about stairs, elevators, gates, gravel drives and tight turns. A surprise at the delivery end costs more time than a surprise at the pickup end.
- What has to be wrapped. Four hours of highway is harder on furniture than fifteen minutes across town. Pads, stretch wrap and boxes for the things that scratch and dent.
- Specialty pieces. Pianos, gun safes, appliances, oversized glass, workshop equipment. Flag these early so the right crew and the right straps are on the truck.
- Timing between the two addresses. If you can't take delivery the same day, we'll talk through how to handle the gap instead of improvising on the sidewalk.
- Packing help. Some folks want everything boxed for them. Others pack the kitchen themselves and hand us the heavy items. Both are fine — just say which.
Give us the pickup address, the delivery address and a rough idea of what's going, and we'll tell you what the move actually looks like. No guessing, no vague ballpark that doubles on moving day.
