Old couches, dead appliances, and garages nobody has parked in since 2009
Most junk removal calls we get start the same way. Somebody is moving out of a house on Holleman, or clearing a parent's place in Bryan, or finishing a remodel, and there's a pile left over that nobody wants to touch. A sleeper sofa with a broken frame. A chest freezer that quit. Six years of boxes in an attic with no light bulb. You can't fit it in a pickup, and the landfill run would eat your whole Saturday.
That's our job. Aggie Movers Company is a moving outfit first, so we already own the trucks, the dollies, the straps, and the crews who know how to get a heavy awkward thing down a narrow stairwell without putting a hole in the drywall. Junk removal is the same muscle pointed at a different problem. We show up, we carry it out, we load it, and we drive away with it.
Owner Wailan Watson runs it the way you'd want it run: a real person answers, you get told what the job involves before anybody picks anything up, and the crew cleans up the floor behind them.
What we haul off, and why people call us for it
Every one of these is a job we do regularly around College Station and Bryan — not a menu we copied from somewhere.
- Furniture removal — couches, mattresses, box springs, bed frames, dressers, desks and recliners carried out whole so you're not sawing a sofa in half in your living room.
- Appliance hauling — refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges and water heaters moved with appliance dollies and straps, which matters when the thing weighs 300 pounds and sits at the top of a staircase.
- Garage and attic cleanouts — the slow, dusty, awkward work of emptying a space that's been filling up for a decade, done in one visit instead of twelve trips in your truck.
- Student move-out leftovers — the futon, the mini fridge, the particle-board shelving and the rug that didn't survive the year. Handy when a lease end is breathing down your neck.
- Estate and whole-house clearouts — a patient crew for a hard job, working room by room so family can keep what matters and let the rest go.
- Office and commercial junk — old cubicle panels, broken task chairs, filing cabinets and dead monitors cleared out of a suite without blocking the hallway for your neighbors.
- Post-remodel and yard debris — torn-out cabinets, old carpet and padding, scrap lumber, fence pickets and brush piles loaded and gone.
- Single heavy items — one piano, one gun safe, one hot tub frame, one treadmill. If it's too heavy for two people and a hand truck, it's exactly the kind of thing we're built for.
How a junk removal job actually goes
There's no mystery to it, and we'd rather you know the sequence up front than find out on the day.
- You tell us what you've got. A short description works, and photos of the pile or the room are even better — that's how we know whether it's a two-man job or a crew and a bigger truck.
- We give you a price for the work based on volume and the labor involved. No surprise line items when the truck is already loaded.
- We confirm a time that fits your schedule, and we tell you how long we expect to be on site.
- The crew arrives with trucks, dollies, straps and floor protection, and walks the job with you so we're pulling out the right things and leaving the rest alone.
- We load, we sweep up what we scuffed, and you take one last look before we pull out.
- It leaves with us. You're done.
We'd rather carry it out whole than cut it up in your house. That's what the trucks and the crews are for.
