Aggie Movers Company — professional Moving Services in College Station, TX

Moving out of a duplex off Holleman, hauling a family's worth of furniture from Bryan to Navasota, or loading a student apartment the week the lease ends — that's the work Aggie Movers Company does. Owner Wailan Watson runs a crew that packs, lifts, drives and sets your home back up, so you're not spending a Saturday wrestling a box spring down a stairwell by yourself.

We handle residential moves of every size, from a single room to a five-bedroom house, and we go well past the Brazos Valley when you need us to. Short hop or long haul, you get the same crew start to finish.

Student moves, piano hauls and last-minute loads across the Brazos Valley

  • Apartment and dorm moves — Built for tight stairwells, narrow breezeways and end-of-lease deadlines. We work fast because student moves live or die by the clock, and we leave the unit clean enough for a walkthrough.
  • House moves — Full-home packs and loads, with furniture blanketed and strapped before it ever leaves the room. Beds get reassembled, so you have somewhere to sleep the first night.
  • Piano and heavy-item moving — Uprights, safes, gun cabinets, treadmills, tool chests. The awkward, heavy, one-piece-at-a-time items most people can't move without help and shouldn't try to.
  • Packing and unpacking — We box up kitchens, closets and anything breakable, label by room, and unpack on the other end if you'd rather skip that part altogether.
  • Loading and unloading only — Already rented the truck or have a portable container in the driveway? Hire the muscle and the know-how for the part that ruins backs.
  • In-home moving and rearranging — New flooring, a nursery swap, a staging job before listing. We shift everything heavy and put it back where you want it.
  • Long-distance moves — Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and points between, handled by the same crew that loaded your house.

What a move day with our crew actually looks like

We ask about the details that decide how long a move takes: stairs, elevators, driveway access, how far the truck can park from the door, whether anything oversized needs taking apart. That conversation is the difference between a move that runs on schedule and one that stalls out at noon.

  1. Walkthrough — we look at what's going, what's staying and what needs special handling.
  2. Protection — blankets, shrink wrap, floor runners and door jamb padding go on before the first box moves.
  3. Load — heavy and bulky first, boxes stacked tight so nothing slides on the road.
  4. Transport — a crew member stays with the truck from your old address to the new one.
  5. Unload and place — furniture goes to the room you point to, beds get put back together, boxes land where their label says.
  6. Final look — we walk both properties with you before we're done.

We'd rather spend ten minutes looking at your stairs than ten hours fixing what we guessed wrong about.

From a Northgate studio to a Houston house — we load both

Our home base is College Station and Bryan, and we move households throughout the surrounding towns — Millican, Snook, Iola, Anderson, Somerville, Navasota, Roans Prairie, Washington, Lyons, Mumford, Caldwell, North Zulch, Bedias, Wheelock, Hearne, Brenham, Madisonville and Rockdale. We also run long-distance residential moves to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.

If your pickup and delivery addresses are in two different towns on that list, that's a normal day for us. Rural driveways, farm roads, apartment complexes with one loading zone — we've loaded and unloaded in all of it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you move single items, like just a piano or a sofa?

Yes. Single-item moves are common for us — pianos, safes, appliances, gym equipment, a sectional that won't fit in a pickup. Tell us the item, the two addresses and whether stairs are involved.

Can you move a student apartment at the end of a lease?

That's a big part of our work in College Station. Apartment and dorm moves are what we're set up for, including tight stairwells and complexes with a single loading zone. Reach out early during lease turnover season, those dates fill up.

Do you pack, or do I need to box everything myself?

Either way works. We'll pack the whole house, just the kitchen and breakables, or nothing at all if you'd rather box it yourself. We can also unpack at the new place.

Will you reassemble beds and furniture at the new house?

Yes. Anything we take apart to get it out the door, we put back together on the other end — bed frames, table legs, mirrors off dressers.

How far will you move us?

Beyond the Brazos Valley we handle long-distance residential moves to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, with the same crew loading and unloading.

What should I do before the crew arrives?

Clear a path to the door, finish any boxes you're packing yourself, set aside the things you want to carry in your own car, and let us know about parking limits or elevator reservations. Everything else is on us.
