Desks, server racks and ten years of filing cabinets — moved without closing your doors
An office move isn't a house move with worse parking. You've got people who need their computers working Monday, a lease that ends on a specific date, and a storage room nobody has opened the last relocation. Aggie Movers Company handles office relocation the way it actually needs to be handled — labeled, sequenced, and put back together in the right rooms at the other end.
We've moved law offices, clinics, insurance agencies, church offices, labs and university-adjacent departments around College Station and Bryan. The work is detailed rather than dramatic: workstations broken down and rebuilt, cables bagged and tagged to the desk they came from, file cabinets moved loaded where that's safe and emptied into banker's boxes where it isn't. Owner Wailan Watson keeps the crews small enough that the same faces are there on load day and unload day, so nothing gets explained twice.
How we plan an office move around your workweek
Before anything gets lifted, somebody from our crew walks your current space and your new one. We measure doors, elevators and stairwells, find out which conference table is going to fight us, and ask who needs to be operational first. Then we build a sequence around that — usually the least-used departments first, the server room and the people who answer the phones last.
- Walkthrough and inventory — room-by-room count of desks, chairs, cabinets, monitors and anything oversized
- Color-coded floor plan — every box and piece of furniture gets a destination room before it leaves the building
- Workstation teardown and rebuild — cubicle panels, sit-stand desks and modular systems disassembled, hardware kept with the piece
- IT equipment handling — monitors, towers, printers and copiers padded and crated, cables labeled to their machine
- Files and records — cabinets and boxes moved in order so your filing system survives the trip
- Furniture protection — shrink wrap, pads and floor runners for both buildings, because deposits matter
- Debris and leftovers — packing material cleared out so your old suite is broom-clean for the landlord
If your new space isn't quite ready, we can stage part of the move rather than dumping everything in a hallway. Phased relocations are normal in our world, not a special request.
From a two-room suite in Bryan to a corporate floor in Houston
Most of our office work is local — a growing practice moving down Texas Avenue, a nonprofit trading a cramped suite for something with real storage. We do plenty of smaller-town moves too, for businesses in Navasota, Caldwell, Brenham, Madisonville, Hearne, Somerville, Anderson, Snook, Iola, Bedias, North Zulch, Rockdale, Washington, Lyons, Mumford, Millican, Roans Prairie and Wheelock. And when a company outgrows the Brazos Valley entirely, we run long-haul office relocations to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio with the same crew loading and unloading — no handoff to a stranger at a truck stop. See all 24 service areas for the full list.
Size isn't the issue. A three-person accounting office and a 40-desk floor both need the same thing: somebody who shows up when they said they would, wraps the expensive stuff properly, and can tell you where the second shipment of chairs went.
Nobody wants to spend their first morning in a new office hunting for a keyboard. That's the whole job — put it back the way they need it.
Let's walk your space and build the plan
Tell us roughly how many desks and people you're moving, where you're headed, and what your lease dates look like. We'll come out, walk both spaces, and give you a straight estimate with the labor, equipment and protection included — not a per-hour guess that balloons on move day. Call Aggie Movers Company at (979) 764-2928 to get your office relocation on the calendar.
