A moving company is only as good as the three or four people who show up at your door. That's the whole business. So instead of a page full of stock photos and slogans, here's an honest look at who works at Aggie Movers Companyhow we're put together, and what you can expect from the people carrying your things.
Wailan Watson keeps the schedule, the routes and the promises
Aggie Movers Company is owned by Wailan Watson. Wailan is the one who takes the details of your move, works out how many movers and how much truck space it really needs, and then stands behind the number quoted. If something on move day doesn't go the way it was planned, Wailan is the person who owns the fix — not a call center in another state.
That matters more than it sounds. A lot of moving quotes get written by someone who will never see your staircase. Here, the person planning the job is the person answering for it, which is why we'd rather ask a few extra questions up front than surprise you on the day.
Dorm stairwells, piano hauls and 200-mile Texas runs
Our movers aren't generalists who happen to own a dolly. The work in this part of Texas has its own rhythm, and the crew is built for it:
- Student and apartment moves — tight stairwells, narrow corridors, loading zones you can only hold for twenty minutes. The crew packs the truck in an order that gets you unloaded fast at the other end.
- Household moves — full homes, blanket-wrapped and shrink-wrapped, with furniture disassembled and rebuilt where it stands. Beds go back together before we leave.
- Heavy and awkward items — pianos, safes, gun cabinets, treadmills, chest freezers. These get extra hands, straps and a plan before anyone lifts.
- Office and commercial moves — desks, filing systems, server and IT gear, labeled by room so your staff can sit down and work the next morning rather than hunt through cartons.
- Long-haul Texas runs — loads out to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, driven by the same crew who loaded them, so nothing gets handed off to a stranger at a warehouse.
How our movers actually work a job
Every crew member is trained the same way, because consistency is what keeps a move boring — and boring is the goal.
- Walk the place first. Doorways, corners, stairs and the parking situation get looked at before a single box moves.
- Protect what gets bumped. Floor runners, door jamb pads, blankets on anything with a finish.
- Load with weight and fragility in mind, not just whatever's nearest the door.
- Keep you in the loop. If a dresser won't clear a corner, you hear about it right then, not after the paint is scraped.
- Put things where you want them. We'd rather carry a sofa twice than leave it in the wrong room.
The crew planning your move is the crew doing your move. That's the only way I know to stand behind it.
Where you'll find us wrapping furniture this week
Home base is College Stationand most of our work sits inside the Brazos Valley — Bryan, Navasota, Caldwell, Snook, Brenham, Hearne, Madisonville and the smaller communities around them. We also run loads statewide to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. See all 24 service areas for the full list.
If your town isn't one you've seen listed, ask anyway. Routes get added, and a crew heading past your exit is often the easiest move we'll do all week.
