You rented the truck. We'll do the lifting.
Plenty of people are happy to drive a rental truck across Texas. Far fewer are happy to carry a sleeper sofa down two flights of stairs to get it in there. That's the part we handle. You book the truck, trailer, portable container or your cousin's flatbed — Aggie Movers Company shows up with the crew, the straps, the blankets and the know-how to pack it tight so nothing shifts on the highway.
Owner Wailan Watson runs this as a labor-only service when that's all you need. No truck rental on our invoice, no mileage, no fuel surcharge for a vehicle you already paid for. Just hands and experience, for as long as the job takes. We'll load at one end, unload at the other, or do both if we're the ones making the trip.
It's also the smart call when something heavy needs to move inside a building rather than between two of them — a gun safe going from the garage to the back bedroom, a commercial refrigerator coming off a delivery pallet, a church piano moving six feet to the left.
Dorm rooms, pianos, pods and pallet jacks
- Rental truck loading — We build the load like a wall: heavy and square on the bottom, soft goods filling gaps, tie-downs every few feet so your dresser isn't riding loose to Dallas.
- Rental truck unloading — You drive in tired. We meet you at the curb, empty the truck, and set boxes in the rooms they belong in instead of a pile by the front door.
- Portable container and pod work — Containers get dropped on a driveway and sit there with a deadline attached. We fill or empty yours efficiently so you're not paying for extra days of storage.
- Student moves — Apartment, dorm and duplex turnover around campus, where the real obstacles are narrow stairwells, tight parking and a sixth-floor walk-up in August heat.
- Piano and safe handling — Uprights, consoles and heavy safes moved with proper equipment and enough bodies, so your floors and doorframes come out of it unmarked.
- Freight and delivery unloading — Furniture deliveries, appliances and palletized shipments broken down, carried in and placed where you want them, not left in the parking lot.
- Storage unit loading and unloading — We pack a unit so you can still reach the back of it, and we'll pull everything out again when it's time.
- Heavy item rearranging — One stubborn armoire, a sectional that won't turn the corner, or a whole room reset before new carpet goes in.
How a loading or unloading job actually goes
Call or message us with the basics: what's moving, where it's going, how many stairs stand between the two, and what size truck or container you've got. That's usually enough for us to tell you how many movers you need and roughly how long it'll take. Guessing low on crew size is how a two-hour job turns into five, so we'd rather be straight with you up front.
- Tell us the inventory, the access — stairs, elevator, long carry, tight driveway — and the truck size.
- We confirm crew size and give you a clear idea of the hours involved.
- The crew arrives with blankets, straps, dollies and shrink wrap, and walks the space with you first.
- We load or unload, pad and secure everything, and do a final sweep before we leave.
You rented the truck — let us do the heavy lifting.
If you'd rather hand over the whole job, we do full-service moving too, local and long distance. Loading and unloading is simply the piece of it some folks want to buy on its own, and there's no penalty for that.
Where our crews load and unload
Home base is College Station and Bryan, and we work throughout the Brazos Valley and the surrounding small towns — Navasota, Caldwell, Snook, Brenham, Hearne, Madisonville, Somerville and more. We also meet trucks and containers at the other end of long hauls in Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, so you can load here and have help waiting when you arrive.
